THE CHALLENGe

Three-dimensional vision inside a surgical field demands two perfectly matched camera channels running in lockstep; identical exposure, identical gain, frame-accurate synchronisation, so the surgeon’s stereo display delivers true depth at sub-millimetre scale. Add the requirement for fluorescence-guided overlays at 850 nm or 940 nm, and the sensor must see clearly in both visible and near-infrared bands without swapping hardware. The AE-CCM-AR0830-M-78 pairs an 8 MP monochrome sensor with enhanced NIR response, multi-sensor synchronisation triggers, and a 4-lane MIPI interface that sustains 60 fps at full 4K resolution — giving surgical OEMs a single module that covers white-light stereo, NIR fluorescence, and structured-light depth mapping in one compact footprint.

The Module · AE-CCM-AR0830-M-78

8MP Monochrome Surgical Imaging Module

Built around the onsemi AR0830 sensor in a 1/2.9″ monochrome format, delivering 3840 × 2160 at up to 60 fps through a 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface — engineered for synchronised stereo pairs in surgical navigation, robotic-assisted endoscopy, and intraoperative 3D reconstruction. Enhanced NIR response at 850 nm and 940 nm supports fluorescence-guided surgery and structured-light depth sensing without a filter swap. Hardware trigger modes lock two or more modules to the same frame clock, and LI-HDR readout feeds high-dynamic-range tissue contrast into the ISP pipeline. The 78° horizontal field of view covers the operative field from a short working distance, while fixed focus at 1.1 m is set for the typical scope-to-tissue range in open and robotic procedures.

01

Mechanical fit-check

We match the module envelope and flex cable to your housing CAD so nothing moves to tooling until the fit is confirmed.

02

Stereo pair matching

Both modules are gain- and response-matched on our line, then tested against your vision pipeline to make sure the depth map is clean.

03

Distribution

Distributed for qualified, repeatable supply at mass production volume.
